Strategy

Based on the past outcome of ASVDP 1.0, the newly formed ASVDP 2.0 covers the development of AI, 5G and other technologies and accelerate startup growth and exits to make Taiwan a key innovative power in Asia. The specific promotion strategies include：

1. Expanding AIoT applications: Accelerating key AIoT R&D, promoting the localization of 5G open networks, and strengthening the application of 5G, AI and other digital technologies to facilitate cross-region cooperation between urban and rural areas.
2. Improving entrepreneurship ecosystem: Increasing investment and financing to accelerate startup growth, leading overseas talents to connect with local industries, promoting diversified startup exits to drive a positive cycle, and shaping new national brands to strengthen business expansion.
3. Integrating capacity of local system integrators: Deepening international partnership of IoT, building a world class ASVDP innovation cluster, and promoting exports of AIoT solutions to overseas markets.

Goal

ASVDP 2.0 is enforced from 2021 to 2024, aiming to achieve the goals below：

1. Develop and establish global systems integrators in Taiwan.
2. Increase Taiwan's IoT to 5% of the global market share by 2025.
3. Exporting 20 AIoT solutions overseas.
4. Facilitating 40 successful startup exits.
5. Assisting 200 startups to thrive.
